B.Com Eligibility

The eligibility for BCom at BMS College of Commerce and Management is passing PUC of Karnataka State or Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. Admission to BCom programme is merit-based.

Aspirants who wish to enrol into the DAV SBM BCom Hons course must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria set by the institute. As per that, a candidate who has passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board of India is eligible to apply. Moreover, students of all streams (Science) can apply for the course. 

Aspirants who have passed Class 12 (CSBE/ ICSE) or Class 12 in Science/ Commerce/ Arts (CHSE) or its equivalent are eligible to apply for BCom (Hons) at DAV School of Business Management. For admission to Medicaps University BCom Hons courses, aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria in the first place. As per the eligibility criteria, students who have passed Class 12 examinations from a recognised board of India in any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) are eligible to apply for the course. The eligibility criteria for BCom course at Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies requires the candidates to pass Class 12 / equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised board. The merit-based scholarships for BCom students at Jagannath University, Haryana are awarded based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination (Class 12). The university has a tier system:

• Students securing above 90% marks in Class 12 receive a 35% tuition fee scholarship.

• Those scoring between 80% and 90% are eligible for a 25% tuition fee concession.

• Students with scores ranging from 70% to 80% can avail a 10% tuition fee scholarship.

• Even those with marks between 60% and 70% are granted a 5% tuition fee concession.

Candidates seeking admission to the Shri Krishna University BCom course must be Class 12 or equivalent exam pass with Science/ Commerce subjects. The qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board/ university. At the time of registration and seat allotment, aspirants must hold the important documents copies and original certificates. These are required to verify that the candidate is eligible for the course admission.

To apply for Jagannath University, Haryana BCom 2025 students must have:

• Passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board

• Scored at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam (Class 12)

For admission in a BCom programme at Sangamithra Degree and PG College, the aspirant must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the aspirants who have passed Class 12 are eligible for admission. In addition, students should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

When seeking admission to B.Com programs at VIT-AP School of Business, they should have passed their Class 12 (or equivalent exam) in a recognised board with minimum aggregate of 55%. Also, those applicants born on and after July 1, 2005, can now apply in the year 2025. Admission is on a merit basis, based on 12 th grade marks and then there is the Personal Interview (PI).
