The BCom LLB admission process at Ramaiah College of Law begins with the registration process in March and gets completed when the selected students pay the admission fee and get their original documents verified. The admitted students are given an orientation in the new session that begins around August.

MS Ramaiah College of Law gives a scholarship of INR 10,000 to those students who have secured 90% marks or above in the Class 12. It is given in the form of a concession on the fee of only the first year of BCom LLB. This is subject to change.

You can apply for admission in BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law even if you have studied subjects of Humanities or Science in Class 12. Prior knowledge of commerce is not compulsory to apply for this course.

You have to attain the minimum aggregate of 45% in your Class 12 exams (40% for ST/SC students) to become eligible for admission in BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law. However, eligibility itself does not ensure admission because there is no provision of direct admission to this college. All the eligible candidates have to go through the next steps in the admission process that includes taking the entrance exam and attending the interview

The total duration of BCom LLB MS Ramaiah College of Law is 5 years. There are two semesters in each year. Thus, there are a total of 10 semesters. Each semester lasts for 18 weeks. The students have to pass at least two subjects in one academic year to get promoted to the next academic year. The maximum duration in which the students have to pass all the papers to successfully complete the undergraduate programme is 5 years.

In order to participate in BCom LLB admission process at MS Ramaiah College of Law, candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board/university which is located outside of Karnataka have to get an Eligibility Certificate. Such students can apply for Eligibility Certificates to Karnataka State Law University. They need to apply with necessary original documents in the prescribed form by post or in person. A fee has to be paid to KSLU get the Eligibility Certificate

The aspiring candidate is required to register for the BCom LLB programme at Ramaiah College of Law. After this, the eligible candidate is intimated about the RCL Admission Test and the Personal Interview. Even if the candidate has scored the threshold score in CLAT and is exempted from the RCL Admission Test due to this reason, it is still mandatory to have a telephonic interview to complete the selection process for admission and secure a seat at the college.

No, BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law is not taught in Hindi. The medium of instruction is English. However, the student can opt for English or Kannada to answer the question paper in the college exams.

MS Ramaiah College of Law conducts its own entrance test called RCL Admission Test for admission in BCom LLB. However, if the eligible candidate has successfully registered for the BCom LLB programme and has secured 50% or above in the CLAT exam, then the college may accept the CLAT score in place of the score of RCL Admission Test.
