The selection criteria for various courses in Velalar college of engineering and technology is completely based on merit as how a student performs in the entrance examination. It varies according to the category of the student.

Admission to the B.E./B.Tech programs at Einstein College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, is primarily based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. To get admitted in B.E. /B.Tech course at MEC-Muthiammal Engineering college, you have to appear in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). 

And then according to merit of students, counselling will be done. You will get admission if you come in merit. 

Candidates seeking B.E./B.Tech admission at Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering (HGCE) must possess 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and accomplish a minimum aggregate of 45% in their marks. Students gain admission by participating in the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) counseling process. Students have the option to admit through the management quota if they fail the ACPC counseling process as this admission method accounts for 10% of all available seats.  

The selection criteria for Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology's B.E./B.Tech program is primarily based on entrance exam and merit. 

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories) is generally required in the 10+2 examination. 

All B.E./B.Tech candidates must have finished their 10+2 education taking Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as required subjects before GTBIT will consider their applications.
