To study BE/ BTech from Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology students have to either:
- For candidates with JEE Main scores: Pass class 12/ diploma in a relevant field with at least 60% aggregate
- For candidates without JEE Main scores: Pass class 12/ diploma in a relevant field with at least 70% aggregate

As per MET eligibility criteria, students should have atleast 50 percent marks in 12th class examination. Students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one optional subject. For admission, 50% weightage will be given to 12th marks.

Cambridge Institute of Technology North Campus, Bangalore B.E eligibility requires candidates to complete the last qualifying examination from a recognised board. Students wishing to enrol in the institute need to have completed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC students from Karnataka). Students must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in addition to Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

For admission to BE or BTech at Kingston Engineering College, the eligibility is as follows:
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Minimum Marks: Need at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for the general category; 40% for reserved categories.
Selection Process: Admission is through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling based on 12th marks. No entrance exam is required, but TNEA registration is mandatory.
