As per MET eligibility criteria, students should have atleast 50 percent marks in 12th class examination. Students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one optional subject. For admission, 50% weightage will be given to 12th marks.

Cambridge Institute of Technology North Campus, Bangalore B.E eligibility requires candidates to complete the last qualifying examination from a recognised board. Students wishing to enrol in the institute need to have completed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC students from Karnataka). Students must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in addition to Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

For admission to BE or BTech at Kingston Engineering College, the eligibility is as follows:
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Minimum Marks: Need at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for the general category; 40% for reserved categories.
Selection Process: Admission is through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling based on 12th marks. No entrance exam is required, but TNEA registration is mandatory.

The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech course at BTIRT is that one must first pass your 10+2 exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. At least 45 percent marks for general category, and 40 percent to reserved categories from Madhya Pradesh. Students also need to appear in an entrance exam like JEE Main, and their selection is based on the score of that exam. Seats are usually given through a counseling process where students are allotted branches based on their entrance exam rank and availability of seats. Diploma holders can also apply for direct entry into the second year if they meet the same percentage require
