Brutally honest review of Jain.
Placements: Both offline and online internships are offered, but the placement is not that great for psychology students. The department faculty connected with the organization to ensure students completed there internship successfully. We have two periods of one month each for internships. There is no stipend for online internships; however, offline internships pay a minimum of 10,000. Placement is an average hospital from Bangalore and Mysore that comes and hires students. The average salary is only around 4.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Jain has a chilled campus environment, and Manvantara is a psychology club. You will learn a lot from here about psychology. The class count for the master course is too large; classrooms have digital infrastructure. Our library has a lot of books we can take and return at any time. I had paid about 1 lakh a year for hostels. Although hostels were nice, hostel food was boring and not good enough for students. The hostel admissions process is very simple and easy. The college has very little sports equipment and sports opportunities.
Faculty: Brutally honest, the Jain psychology faculty is not good. They give students a PowerPoint of 50–60 slides per subject and say that if you study this, you will get good grades. But this is not enough for past graduation level; from this, we will hardly get any knowledge and fail to deliver well in interviews. They have good qualifications but are not made for teaching. The course curriculum is rigid, very tough and time-consuming; it takes a lot of time to cover the whole syllabus. Also, the college routine is unpredictable, and management is not good. Examinations are tough but teachers PPT helps in exams but does not improve knowledge.

Our college is not good for this course.
Placements: We are told to find internships for a month with more working hours than psychologists.
Faculty: Our teachers have no idea what they teach. They just added abnormal psychology to the course for our juniors when our professor noticed we did not have it. Our batch and the previous batch never studied the most popular psychology field because they kept adding courses with no idea what the courses were about. You need to become an entrepreneur. They will focus more on business studies because they want to tell students that many entrepreneurs are passing out of this college. We have a subject called PCL for all courses. If you are lucky, their system will assign you a random professor to guide you through, but if you are not, just run behind any professor who can give any updates on the posters you have to present. Our course was rushed, and the semester ended in one and a half months. The rest is for internships, so we must find enough attendance for exams.
Other: It is better to join some other college.

Better than Christ in some ways.
Placements: It is rather hard to find placements after a B.Sc. course. An M.Sc. is a must to find placements, so don't hold out hope for that. However, the college will help you find internships and will give you breaks to attend them, so that is something nice about it.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but from what I have heard, the hostel is really good, even though it's not within the campus premises. The classrooms and labs are well maintained; the only issue is that the building in which they are accommodated is kind of small.
Faculty: The faculty could be better, no doubt. All the young teachers lack real-world experience, but they are knowledgeable and ready to help. The curriculum is very simple and practical; it could be a little tougher. The pass percentage is 33 percent, and the semester exams are kind of hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in psychology. There are many fests here, both cultural and academic.

Strict and below average quality of college.
Placements: I don't know about placement since I will graduate next year only. But from what I heard, not many companies are offering to come to our campus. Let's hope I will get good placements. But for an internship, you can get one easily. Because this is a newly built college (around 3 years), there aren't many options yet.
Infrastructure: Class is extremely hot, there is no air conditioning, windows, or ventilation. The lift frequently malfunctions, the buildings are too small, and there is no auditorium or field. There are ties with PG at this college, which doesn't provide good quality service. Our college also doesn't have proper Wi-Fi on all floors.
Faculty: Too many exams and too many assignments given by the teachers will make us go to college from Monday to Saturday. We can't chill at all here. So much pressure! If you want to enjoy college, this college is not recommended for you. Teachers and faculty are okay.
Other: I wish this campus would decrease the subjects and hours of studying. Exams need to be reduced as they are too much, and teachers need to be more considerate to students and not give too many assignments, as our lives do not revolve around college. After college, we also want to chill out and relax, not always think about assignments. And please give us more extracurricular activities that are well organised.

Absolutely disappointed. Can't think of a worse place to pursue one's dream career.
Placements: We are not yet aware about the placement situation here since our seniors are currently in last sem and they were the first batch in this course of this college. But we were promised recommendation letters from the previous director whenever we'll require it to apply for a job anywhere.
Infrastructure: No comments on the hostel facility here. It's too far from the campus and is extra strict for a college student and is extra pricy. The infrastructure of our course is worse as very few important topics are taught that are essential for a major in psychology.
Faculty: Too many exams are conducted. Too many assignments are given. It is extremely hectic. Professors aren't permanent. All the good professors keep resigning due to the tyranny of the director. It's just worthless. No holidays are given after sem exams. If given, it's barely a week long. Its exhausting to complete one sem in 4 months and not have holidays after the sem exams and the numerous assignments.
Other: I wish we had a campus. It's literally just a small building built in between numerous tech parks. And the entire college's strength isn't more than 500 students. Like even our schools had better crowd and infrastructure.
