The eligibility criteria for admission is 45% for General Category candidates and 40% for SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. If the marks obtained in Chemistry are less than the required aggregate percentage for eligibility, then the marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics will be considered in place of Chemistry (but not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).
