B.E. Eligibility

Candidates who are eligible for B.Tech at Nitte (Deemed to be University) must meet specific criteria. For Indian nationals who have completed Class 12 in India, under the General category, admission is based on merit in the All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test). Additionally, 20% of the seats in each program are reserved for candidates topping in NUCAT, with scholarships offered to the toppers. Direct admission is available based on marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination. Candidates seeking admission under the NRI category need to follow a specific process outlined by the university

ZCOER Pune admission 2025 is based on minimum eligibility criteria that candidates must meet in order to apply for admission in the BE programme in any of the specialisation. Candidates who want to take admission in the BE programme at Zeal College of Engineering and Research should have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one additional subject from Chemistry/ Biology/ Technical Vocational/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Informatics Practices/ Information Technology/ Agriculture/ Electronics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship or Engineering Graphics or should have passed three-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology and must have obtained minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for backward class, economically weaker and PwD category candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only).

To pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering, a candidate must have passed class 12 (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination. The eligibility criteria for admission is 45% for General Category candidates and 40% for SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. If the marks obtained in Chemistry are less than the required aggregate percentage for eligibility, then the marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics will be considered in place of Chemistry (but not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses). Finally, candidates must appear for the KEA/COMEDK entrance exams to get admission.
