Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The exam will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test) to offer admissions to candidates in two-year BEd courses offered at the Colleges of Education in the state of Telangana.

As per the exam pattern of IGNOU BEd entrance exam, the time duration of the entrance test is two hours. The exam is conducted in pen-paper based offline mode and there is no negative marking in the exam. There will be 120 questions which candidates will have to answer during this time frame and each question will carry 1 mark each. There will be no negative marking in the IGNOU BEd entrance exam.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts the BEd entrance exam. The entrance exam is held to shortlist candidates for distance learnign BEd courses offered by IGNOU. For the 2025 session the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test was held on March 16. For the 2026 session, the exam body has not released dates yet and we can expect the dates to be out in January 2026.

The IGNOU BEd entrance exam dates for the 2026 are yet to be out, we can expect the dates to be out in January 2026. The IGNOU BEd Entrance Test for the 2025 session was held on March 16, in offline mode across various exam centres in India with the purpose to provide admission to candidates into distance learning BEd courses offered by IGNOU.

As per the official exam pattern of the IGNOU BEd entrance test the exma is conducted in two languages - English and Hindi. Candidates can choose to appear for the exam in either of the languages. The questions will be asked in both the languages giving candidates the freedom to understand the question easily. However, they will have to answer the question in one language only, either English or Hindi.
