B.Ed is an objective type test with multiple-choice answers. The test is designed to measure a persons general aptitudes as the following table indicates:

However number of questions and marks per question may vary from university to university but the general format of the test remains the same for most of the universities and institutions.
There is negative marking for each wrong answer i.e is 25% of the right answer.

The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Ed. admission 2017 are listed below:
Successful completion of graduation in any of Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. ) or Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com. ) from a recognised university
A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation
A minimum aggregate score of 55% at post-graduate level. Regards.
