BMS College of Law and Oxford College of Law are both respected law schools in India. BMS College, established in 1965, holds higher prestige and a top 10 ranking in India according to NIRF. Oxford College, founded in 2000, is newer with a smaller alumni base and slightly lesser amenities. The official website of the BMS College of Law mentions that the students become eligible for placements after four years. In the fourth year onwards, the students secure internships in top law firms. When students complete their internships the law firms visit the campus for hiring. The median package offered was INR 3.5 LPA, and the highest package was INR 7 LPA.
