No, you will not be granted two distinct medical licences if you pursue a B.Pharma through lateral entry after earning a D.Pharma.
You can do enrol in the B.Pharma programme through lateral entry in the second year itself, and once you are graduated, you'll also be granted a single licence to work as a pharmacist. However if you may practise as a registered pharmacist with this licence, which is also valid under the Pharmacy Act. However, the D.Pharma qualification does not grant you a separate or supplementary licence.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The entrance exam was conducted on Mar 31. Aspirants seeking admission to BPharm course of Nirma University can apply with a valid score in this state-level examination.

Yes, Nirma University registrations are currently open. The eligible candidates can visit the university official website to apply. GUJCET counselling registrations are also open. The registration end date was May 28 for the counselling. Moreover, last date to apply for BPharm (NRI category) was Jul 8, 2024. Moreover, the GUJCET 2025 application forms are expected to be released on Jan 25, 2025.

Nirma University seat allotment procedure is carried out through ACPC counselling. The 85% of the seats are filled through the counselling procedure. Moreover, the university may follow the reservation policy as prescribed by the government of Gujarat or India. The three categories under which admission is offered at the university are:
- General category
- NRI/NRI Sponsored
- FN/PIO/CIWGC-SEA

Nirma University has a total seat count of 100 for the BPharm course. Aspirants are admitted in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake. Moreover, the university allot 85% of the seats through ACPC counselling and the rest 15% are reserved for the NRI sponsored category. It must be noted that the seat count mentioned here is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Nirma University releases cutoff list for the BPharm programme based on merit and scores in the accepted exam. In 2023, the university last round closing rank for BPharm was 1519 for the General-All India category. The cutoff further varies every year, as it depends upon varies varying factors, such as number of applicants, exam score, seat availability, and more. Candidates who fulfil the cutoff criteria can participate in the counselling for seat allotment.

Admission to B.Pharma at Assam University, Silchar is based mainly on NEET scores. The required NEET score for Assam University Silchar is 300 - 400 minimum, to get admission to B.Pharma course.
The fee for the course is INR 14,400. The total seat intake is 50.
To apply for B.Pharam you need to wait for June 10, 2024, when the NEET result will be declared.

Candidates seeking admission to the BPharm course of Nirma University should first check out the course-specific eligibility criteria. The eligible students can proceed with the admission form online on the university admission portal. After the conclusion of the application procedure, a merit/cutoff list shall be released for each round of counselling. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria/rank can participate in the counselling for seat allotment. The university admit candidates through ACPC counselling.

Nirma University may admit candidates based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12. However, the university also accept entrance exam scores for selection. Some of the national/state-level examinations that the university accepts are GUJCET/GPAT/NEET. Candidates with a valid score in either of the mentioned exams are apply for admission. Apart from this, it is essential that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility criteria.
