The eligibility criteria of DIT University varies for the BPharm and BPharm lateral entry programmes. For admission to regular BPharm course, aspirant should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board and studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as mandatory subjects. In addition, the applicant should have obtained pass marks in PCM/PCB and English to get selected. For this course admission, proficiency in English language is also a requirement by the university.

SDDGPI offers various scholarships to their BPharm students in the form of fee waivers, financial aid, and fee concessions. These scholarships are based on factors such as candidates' merit, domicile, performance, and sports achievements. Some of the scholarships offered by SDDGPI are mentioned below:
1. Merit Based Scholarship
Candidate with 90% and above marks will get 100% Tuition fee waiver
Candidate with 80% to 89.99% marks will get 40% Tuition fee waiver
Candidate with 70% to 79.99% marks will get 30% Tuition fee waiver
Candidate with 60 to 69.99% marks will get 20% Tuition fee waiver
Note: Condition for Continuation of Scholarship from second semester onwards:

2. COVID-19 Warriors Scholarship Scheme
As a mark of gratitude towards the selfless services rendered by Covid-19 warriors, Special Scholarship in the form of 15% waiver in Tuition Fee will be offered to their wards
The candidates are eligible for the scholarship which fall under the following categories :
Wards of Doctors, Nurses, Para-Medical Staff, Lab Staff and Housekeeping Staff working in any Government/ Private Hospitals or in Deptt of Health of any State/Central Govt., Wards of Police and Paramilitary Personals working in any State/ UT, Wards of Sanitation Workers of Municipal Committee or Corporations, Wards of Media Persons (Print & Electronic), Wards of Bank Employees

3. Haryana Scholarship 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
The Candidate must be a resident of Haryana.
The Candidate should belong to either Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Classes (BC), OBC
The Candidate should have Haryana domicile .
Candidate’s Parent’s annual Income should be below 2.50 lacs.
The Amount is directly transferred to the Candidate’s bank account after verifying the complete details.
The application form should be attested and submitted

4. Sports scholarship scheme
Scholarship for the International level Candidates:
Candidate who have got Gold medal will get scholarship amount of INR 84000
Candidate who have got Silver medal will get scholarship amount of INR 72000
Candidate who have got Bronze medal will get scholarship amount of INR 60000

Scholarship for the National level Candidates:
Candidate who have got Gold medal will get scholarship amount of INR 60000
Candidate who have got Silver medal will get scholarship amount of INR 48000
Candidate who have got Bronze medal will get scholarship amount of INR 36000

No, pharmacists in India are not allowed to open their own clinics. According to the India Pharmacy Council, only doctors with an MBBS degree can open clinics. Pharmacists can open a chemist shop and dispense medicine, but they cannot start a clinic or prescribe medicine to patients.

To operate a clinic or prescribe medication, one must have an MBBS degree. As a pharmacist, you can obtain a license to open a chemist or medicine shop where you can distribute medicines prescribed by doctors. While it's common for some chemists to recommend medication for minor ailments, this practice is illegal and can lead to legal consequences if caught.

To secure a seat in the BPharm programme at SDDGPI, you need to follow these steps:

1. Fill out the application form: First, you have to fill out the application form for BPharm programme from college's official website. 
2. Class 12 results: Your Class 12 results are important consideration while taking admission, because the merit list for admission will be based on the basis of these resultsa and the rank secured in counselling process.
3. HSTES counseling process: After the merit list is released, you will go through the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) counseling process.
4. College notification: Once the counseling process is completed, the college will notify you about your admission status.

Domicile Scholarship offers finacncial aid to students who has proof that they are permanent resident of a state. However, resident certificate is proof that an individual resides in the current residence, which can be permanent or temporary. The eligibility criteria for Domicile Scholarship available at SDDGPI to BPharm students are as follows: 

1. The candidate must be a resident of Haryana.
2. The candidate should belong to one of the following categories:
   • Scheduled Caste (SC)
   • Backward Classes (BC)
   • Other Backward Classes (OBC)
3. The candidate should have Haryana domicile.
4. The candidate’s parent’s annual income should be below 2.50 lakhs.
5. The scholarship amount is directly transferred to the candidate’s bank account after verification of all details.
6. The application form should be attested and submitted as required.
