Kumaun University offers a total number of 120 seats. On the other hand, the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University offers 60 seats for the BPharm course. The reason for this difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University offers BPharm seats through its Pharmaceutical department and one of the constituent campuses, Sir J.C. Bose Technical Campus, Bhimtal. Further, HNGBU only offers BPharm seats through the university's campus.

Jamia Hamdard University offers entrance-based admission to its BPharm programme. The selection can be done based on performance in the NEET/JEE Main paper-I. Apart from this, it is also important that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility requirements for selection. It must be noted that the entry requirements are different for the BPharm regular and BPharm (lateral entry) programme.
