Yes, BHU is one of the best universities in India, you can go for G. B Pant University, Chaudhary Charan Singh University Haryana, IARI, TNAU, etc.

As per the reports of Times of India it was 5000.
It means more than 5000 students appear every year for this course.
And it was the data of 2009.
In today's scenario it is more than 90000 for B.Sc in Maths.
You can guess for agriculture it should be around 70 thousand.
