1) Jobs for aspirants within the public sector are quite ample. There are many firms that are under the aegis of the Indian government that offer aspirants with jobs of high profiles. With the right qualification, a person can get employed as an Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS).
Upon clearing the NET qualification, aspirants can start their career as a lecturer. Besides this, jobs are also available for aspirants as Block Development Officers (BDO) or Agriculture Development Officers (ADO). To get this job, it will be needed by applicants to write an admission test.

Hello,
For doing graduation in any subject, normal eligibility is one should have completed 12th. I am sure you must have finished 12th long time back. Hence you are eligible to pursue B.Sc in agriculture via distance education mode.

Eligibility for Bachelor of Science (Agriculture)
The minimum qualification for entry to B.Sc (Ag.) is Intermediate (12 years of school education) in science (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics) or Intermediate in Agriculture stream (limited states). Depending on the university, the eligibility varies in terms of a combination of subjects. Eligibility criterion also varies for reserved categories as per the reservation guidelines of GOI.

Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Field Crops (Kharif), Field Crops (Rabi), Crop Production, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water resource management, Organic Farming, Sustainable agriculture. Apart from theoretical subjects, practical sessions are also involved, in case of these subjects.
