There is no comparison between agriculture and genetics. Each branch has its own merit and demerits. So it comes down to personal preference. If you think Genetics offers promising career than choose Genetics or vice versa. However, in terms of opportunities, B.Sc in agriculture has a lot of career options and also you can pursue higher education or do a business in agriculture.

It depends on your mark that you have got in 12th exams. Genetics is a good field for Science students and it have great opportunities in research field.
