The university offers three to four year long BSc (Hons) courses. It is available in different specialisations, such as Agriculture, Mathematics, and Biology. The BSc (Hons) course in Agriculture is also offered at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, and Mirzapur under Special Courses of Studies. Admission to the BSc (H) at BHU is through the NTA CUET-UG exam. The students have to apply for this exam and pass it with a good score to secure admission to the university. At the undergraduate level, the university offers three to four-year BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and various other specialisations. The total tuition fees for this course is INR 1,900 - INR 62,100. The eligibility criteria to apply for the BSc (Hons) in Mathematics is Class 12 with a minimum of 30 percent to 50 percent aggregate. The accepted exams are CBSE 12th and WBCHSE.
