The institute commenced its 2022 placement drive from October 2021. Students received an average salary of INR 23 LPA. The highest salary stood at INR 60 LPA. During IISc Bangalore Placements 2021, 276 students out of 528 graduating students were placed. Among them, 6 were UG students & 270 were PG students. A total of 130 students opted out from the placement drive to pursue higher studies. IISc Bangalore selects candidates for its BSc (By Research) program based on JEE Main/ KVPY/ NEET UG/ JEE Advanced exam. For the BTech in Mathematics and Computing, JEE Advanced 2022 will be taken into consideration. Aspiring candidates can register for the JEE Advanced exam from August 7-11. Examination for the currently year will be held on August 28.
IISc Bangalore B.Sc (Research) Admission 2022:
The institute offers a four year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Research) program in six specializations such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Materials, Mathematics and Environmental Science. The total fee charged by the IISC Bangalore for the 4 years of its B.Sc (Research) Programmes is INR 75,800.
IISc Bangalore B.Sc (Research) Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates should have completed their II PUC / 12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
