Definitely not, IISC is India's top institute, and students with top marks in JEE prefer IISCs. So don't worry try to get high marks next year or otherwise you may try to apply to other colleges based on your marks and category. I hope this answer will be useful for you.

Lovely Professional University is best for pursuing B.Sc. In Biotechnology. If you are looking for quality education, good placements, exposure, academics then LPU is right place, it has all. B.Sc. Economics is best option where you can do much better as B.A. You'll learn practical problems more than theory with Maths. But B.A. Economics with Maths stats and eco best combo for B.A. Also much better but package are different. Research both and find your area of interest where you want to go theory or not.
