These days admissions to engineering courses are given only on the performance of the students in entrance examinations. At the national level, there is JEE Mains while almost all states except Tamilnadu conduct entrance examinations. Okay, still all is not lost. You can think of getting admission under the management quota of deemed to be universities or private Engineering colleges. Dear aspirant, BHM is a better option. If you go for BHM you would have better job opportunities, both in India and abroad. Even during the recession, the hospitality industry is the least affected because of numerous reasons. There are many options like hotels, cruise ships, restaurants, airlines, etc. Where you can start your career once you are a graduate. If you do it from any of the IHMs, then you would many companies walking in for the campus recruitment. It's your choice to stay in India or to work in other countries. If you have an aim of doing an MBA, then BBA is a better option. Also, if you want to do MBA in hospitality then go for BHM. However, if you do BHM you would not need to do an MBA in hospitality. Dear aspirant, Nice to see you. Both the programmes carry different importance. It depends upon personal aptitude that decides which programme is better for her/him. B Tech in Food Technology has a better overall prospect as even without a master's course you can enter into the industry/job market whereas B.Sc. (Ag) graduates generally need M.Sc. (Ag) for higher positions. Both the graduates may take any competition for which the minimum prescribed qualification is graduation in any discipline. So for administrative/bank/railway both have equal prospects. An agriculture graduate has, however, an advantage for some posts in bank especially Agriculture Officer or Extension Officer.
