The total seat intake for the BSc course at IMU Chennai is 120. All these seats are offered in one specialisation i.e., Nautical Science. To get a seat in this programme, canddiates  must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts the IMU CET exam.

Yes, a medical certificate is compulsory to get admission into BSc courses at IMU Chennai, Indian Maritime University (IMUC). A physical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner is required to be submitted at the time of admission, when you get selected. Moreover, in the counseling process, an applicant is required to submit their medical certificates.

The application fee for BSc courses at the IMU Chennai campus and the fees for registration for the IMU CET entrance exam are the same. The application fee for different categories is mentioned  below:

For BSc Programs:

  • INR 1000 for General /General-EWS/ OBC (NCL) candidates
  • INR 700 for SC / ST candidates

To be eligible for the BSc programme at the Arena Animation Jayanagar, candidates must pass Class 12 from a recognised board in any stream. The institute also conducts a personal interview to shortlist students. Admission is based on merit scores. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website for the desired course.
