For the 2023 – 2024 academic year, Allahabad State University will accept 913 students into its Bachelor of Science program.  Two universities partake the seats Allahabad University, which has 50 seats, and Chaudhary Mahadeo Prasad Degree College, University of Allahabad, which has 863 seats.

The Common University Entrance Test results of applicants determine their admission to the B.Sc. program (CUET). At Allahabad State University, the three- year full-time B.Sc. program provides a range of specialisations, including biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, botany, zoology, and geology. 

Depending on the subject and school, different requirements apply for the B Sc. selection procedure and the minimum percentage needed in the 12th grade. Nonetheless, the majority of B.Sc. programmes in India follow a few broad standards. Normally, 50% of the 12th grade is needed to be admitted to B Sc. But certain elite universities could have a higher cutoff point of about 60% or 70%. The minimal 12th class percentage needed may be considerably greater for admission to some specialised B.Sc. courses, such B.Sc. in Physics or B.Sc. in Chemistry.

The college or institution an applicant wants to attend must receive an application from them, either offline or online. Academic transcripts, personal information, and other pertinent papers are usually requested on the application form. An entrance test is required for admission to several schools and universities for B.Sc. Exams for admission, like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), may be administered at the university level or on a nationwide scale. An applicant's 12th grade percentage and any relevant entrance exam results will be used to create a merit list. Counselling appointments are made for those who are offered admission. Applicants can select and confirm their admission to the B Sc. course of their choice throughout the counselling process.
