KCLAS (Kovai Kalaimagal Arts and Science College) in Coimbatore does not offer a general BSc program.  They offer these science-related undergraduate programs currently like :-

• B.Sc Computer Science
• B.Sc Information Technology
• B.Sc Biotechnology
• B.Sc Microbiology
  Among these programs:- 

1. For B.Sc Computer Science, the latest cutoff marks is in the range of 185-190 out of 300 for the 2022 admissions.
2. For B.Sc IT and B.Sc Microbiology and Biotechnology, detailed cutoffs are not available online. But cutoffs should be around 170-180 marks out of 300.
   The cutoffs can vary from year to year based on factors like number of applications, difficulty of 12th exams taken, reserve category quotas etc. In general for Science programs at KCLAS one needs to score in the range of 170-195 out of 300 in 12th exams to get selected.

Both B.Sc. in Avionics and B.Sc. in Aeronautics (Mechanical) are offered by Wingsss College of Aviation Technology as undergraduate degree programs that focus on the study of Aeronautics, Aviation Technology, and overall aircraft structure. The difference between the two streams is that Avionics focuses on the electrical and electronic systems of an aircraft, while Mechanical focuses on the engineering physics and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems of an aircraft.
However, Avionics has a better career scope than Mechanical, as it includes more opportunities in areas such as Traffic Control, Antenna Maintenance, Control Displays, Aircraft Lighting System, Communication, Navigation System, Weather assistance, Flight safety, Broadcasting related to Aviation, Aeronautical Information Services, etc. The course is highly specialised and much different and better than traditional B.E or B.Tech program.
