The HITSEEE paper will be two hours long and consist of 120 questions which the candidates have to solve. The question types will be elective which means MCQs. The exam is divided into three parts, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 40 marks each. The students preparing for the HITSE entrance examination have to focus more on subjects mathematics, physics and chemistry. The syllabus of all those subjects are more likely similar to PCM subjects studied in Class 11 and 12. For a descriptive syllabus, candidates can visit HITSEEE's official website.

Many scholarship offered to BSc students at HIET are reserved for those who are part/ member of Hindustan group of institutions. These scholarships are only applicable/ open for these communities:
- Children of Alumni.
- Immediate family members (Sister/Brother) of Alumni.
- Alumni for Higher Studies.
- Children of the Staff of HGI.

The HIET BSc average package was INR 4 LPA. The placement record at the Hindustan Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET) is impressive. Placement drives are held annually in August. During campus selection, almost 79.31% of the students in the 2022-2023 batch were placed.

The latest cutoff data for BSc at HIET is currently not available on college’s website. According to last year data, the cutoff for BSc at HIET is within the rank range of 37096 to 58654. The ranking is subject to change according to the year and merit of different academic years.
Cut off also vary according to the course candidates selected and the secured marks in entrance examination.

The fee structure for HIET BSc includes different types of charges such as hostel fees, admission fees, examination fees, tuition fees, mess fees, and other various one-time charges. The total tuition fees for HIET BSc range from INR 5 lakh to INR 5.5 lakh. The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The HITSEEE 2024 exam was held from May 3 to May 10, 2024. Before applying for the exam, candidates were required to go through the eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications, age limits, etc. Candidates needed to qualify in order to secure a seat for admission.

According to verified Shiksha reviews of students and alumni of HIET the BSc courses could be a good option as some praise it for the faculty, curriculum, practical and hostel facilities. On the other hand, some of the reviews stated about their bad experience in placements and some of the students claimed that they get good placements offer from the institute.
Conclusively, the reviews of the students are mixed, while making the decision candidates must keep their interests and career goals into account.
