IIT Kanpur BSc curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. The curriculum of the BSc programme differs for each BSc specialisation offered by the institution. Candidates are required to study Institute Core, Department Compulsory, Department Elective, Open elective and, various other subjects during the course of the programme.

Admission to the BSc programme offered at IIT Kanpur will be entirely entrance-based. The JEE Advanced admit card 2026 will be released by the exam conducting authority. As per the schedule, the JEE Advanced exam 2026 will be held on May 17, 2026.

The BSc programme offered at IIT Kanpur is compared to the BSc programme offered at IIT Bombay. The total tuition fees charged by both the institutes is INR 8 Lacs for all the specialisations.
