Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women's University offers admission to BSc courses solely on the basis of merit obtained in qualifying examination. However, the university has specified a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12. Candidates with 45% or more have a pretty good chance at getting into the university. However, candidate must have completed Class 12 from a recognised state or national board.

No, Kongu Engineering College (Kongu College) in Erode does not have a separate B.Sc. IT entrance cutoff—admissions are based purely on 10+2 marks (minimum 50?%) and merit list. It's a seat-only-by-aggregate system, no TNEA or entrance exam.
