Amity University, Ranchi, provides direct admission (or Fast Track admission) to candidates who fulfil the criteria specified by the university for Fast Track admission. Candidates willing to take direct admission to the university' BSc course must have scored at least 80% in Class 12 or over 80 percentile in CUET UG. Such candidates are not required to appear for various rounds of the selection process to secure a seat. They are also eligible for scholarships of up to 100%. However, such candidates are still required to fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria.

Additionally, for the selection process, the institute considers I.CAT (ISHM Common Aptitude Test) scores. This is an in-house online entrance test conducted by the institute.
