No, PCB is not compulsory to get admissions into all BSc specialisations offered at Farid University of Health Sciences. The eligibility requirement for admission to BSc courses at Baba Farid University of Health Science varies according to the specialisation selected by the candidates. To get admission into BFUHS BSc courses,  candidates must complete their Class 12 in PCB and English with a minimum aggregate of 40%. Yes, candidates are allowed to get admission into BSc courses at Baba Farid University of Health Science without entrance exams. Further, the university releases the merit of shortlisted candidates according to their scores achieved in higher senior secondary. Except for BSc in Nursing, candidates must appear and secure a valid score in PPMET (Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test).

Baba Farid University of Health Science offers both merit-based and entrance-based admission to BSc courses. However, for only BSc in Nursing courses, the university accepts the scores of the entrance exam, namely PPMET (Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test), followed by a counselling process. As per the official website of SRM University, admissions to the BSc programmes are based on the score obtained in the last qualifying examination. Only applicants with Higher Senior Secondary (Class 12) in the relevant stream from a recognised board will be eligible to apply. However, as per the general report, many universities accept BSc admissions based on a 60% aggregate in Class 12. Candidates who are looking to pursue a BSc from SRMUS can check the official site or contract with the admission office.

PGIMER Chandigarh BSc programme is offered in around eight specialisations: Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Radiotherapy Technology, Medical Technology (Perfusionist), Embalming and Mortuary Science, etc. Moreover, BFUHS offers around 14 specialisations in BSc courses.
