Since you are already studying at a top-tier university in the city, you may know about the UoL's MSc in Mathematics course. The average salary of passouts from here is INR 8.60 Lacs p.a. BBAU is another great, affordable option. The MSc in Maths in BBAU is for INR 6,000, much more economical than your current university. The median salary for this course from BBAU is INR 7.6 LPA, quite close to the University of Lucknow. Still, you can find many MSc in Mathematics colleges in Lucknow.

The scholarships provided are merit based or financial status based. Students who score more than 70% in all academic years are provided with merit scholarship. The institute also offers scholarships to financially weak students with good academic background. The application process for scholarship is notified by the institute.

The structure of course is divided in four years and eight semesters. The core subjects vary as per the specialisation. There are some common additional subjects in every course. Those include SEC, VAC, AEC, etc. Students can choose additional subjects in each semester.

The core subjects are different for each course. It also depends on the branch and specialisation. Some first year subjects of BSc Home Science are Fundamentals of Textiles, Fashion Studies, etc. Moreover, the syllabus includes additional subjects like SEC, VAC, AEC, etc.

There are total 480 seats offered in BSc course. The seats are further divided in different specialisations. For Home Science, the institute offers 60 seats. For general BSc course, the seats are divided in two categories. Total 240 seats are there in Biology group and 180 in Mathematics group.

Yes, the institute has a seat reservation policy for different category students. Out of total seats, 16% are reserved for SC students, 12% for ST, 21% for OBC and 10% for EWS category students. Candidates have to submit the relevant caste certificate and other documents with the application form.

The selection process is based on Class 12 marks. Candidates have to first fill the application form on official website of university. The university allots seats according to merit score of students. Seats in all UG courses are allotted by university only.

No, the admissions are not based on any entrance exam. The university gives admissions to all UG courses on the basis of Class 12 merit scores. Students can apply through institute website for admissions. The university allots seats in all courses as per the merit score.
