Vidyasagar University admission usually begins from March or April. Since the BSc courses are offered across different affiliated colleges under the university, the admission dates migh be different. Candidates are suggested to visit the official websites of affiliated colleges under the Vidyasagar University.

Vidyasagar University (Home University and autonomous College (s) affiliated to Vidyasagar University)offers seat reservation as per the latest order of the Govt. of West Bengal. The BSc seats are reserved for the SC and ST students. As per the reservation policy 22% of seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 6% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates in educational institutions.

No direct admission is not available for the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration at SIHMCT Tiruchirappalli. Admission is based on the NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination) which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates must qualify for the exam and participate in the counseling process conducted by NCHMCT to secure a seat Candidates must also complete the 10+2 crietria from a recognised board with English as a compulsory subject.
