Normally, admission in private colleges to B.Sc. programs requires 50% eligibility criteria in 12th standard from a recognised board. Some private colleges, however, have flexible admission policies or special provisions for students who have marginally not reached the percentage required.

With 250 marks in NEET, it might become difficult to get admission to the top government colleges that offer B.Sc Nursing course as they have higher cuts. You can still see government nursing colleges or any private college with lower cut-offs. Colleges in minor states with slightly lower cuts in NEET, Uttarakhand, Bihar or Madhya Pradesh, it might be more accessible. BSc Admission can be done through any entrance exam or marks scored in 10+2. Candidates also have the choice to pursue BSc Admission without any entrance exams through a DIstance BSc Program. Distance BSc course can be pursued based on a candidate's class 12 marks without any entrance exam.

For mostly DU BSc programs, you'll need to appear for either DUET or CUET exam. However, mostly colleges offer BSc course admissions on the merit system.
