The process of filling out the application for every BSc specialisation is similar. However, there is a difference in eligibility criteria for BSc specialisations that candidates are required to qualify for before filling out the application, for example, some of the BSc courses require candidates to complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream some from the PCB stream. Additionally, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% for admissions to BSc specialisations available at Saveetha University, but for BSc in Dental Technology specialisations candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate.

To apply offline for SIMATS BSc course, candidates must go to the admissions office in Chennai, where they receive the application form and prospectus after paying INR 1,000 in cash or by DD. Further, candidates must complete the application form according to the guidelines in the prospectus and mail the completed and signed document to the specified address.
