The number of seats made available for B.Sc. students in North Bengal University (NBU) varies from department to department, course to course and availability of seats differ from stream to stream, for example from Physics, Chemistry or Biology. Though the B.Sc placements in North Bengal University (NBU) cannot stand against that of technical or professional courses, it surely provides some opportunities, especially in fields related to Science and research. The following factors underlie the overall placement scenario:

No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to BSc courses at Assam University. On the official website of the university, it clearly states that candidates willing to get admission into BSc courses must secure a valid score in CUET (by NTA). It is compulsory to appear in the CUET examination and achieve decent scores that can qualify for the merit/ cutoff list.

Procuring admission into the B.Sc programme of North Bengal University (NBU) with 60% in Class 12th is possible, but is mostly influenced by the course you are applying for and the competition that particular year. Broadly, holding the following factors for admission to NBU :-

To get admission into B.Sc. programs of NBU, 75 percentile has a good chance for WBCHSE (West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education) students, but it depends on some conditions:

Cutoff for Course: The cutoff varies from year to another according to course, number of applicants, and overall performance. Normally, it will be higher for B.Sc courses in popular streams such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Category: In general, for the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), there might be a difference in the cutoff according to the normal category.

Applications will be invited online for the Common Entrance Test (CET) to seek admission to the B.Sc. Nursing programme offered at PGIMS Rohtak. The application will be available June 28, 2024 through July 12, 2024. Candidates need to pass 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 45% marks in the above subject for general candidates and 40% marks for SC/BC. After applying, candidates have to undergo CET on July 28, 2024. Aspiring candidates are admitted based upon CET scores and then through counseling. After selection, document verification and fees have to be paid for successful enrollment.

As it is generally, M.Sc. in some way is better than B.Sc. with respect to the placement opportunities in Mohanlal Sukhadia University:

Higher Positions: By virtue of being a postgraduate, M.Sc. generally goes on to hold positions in various specialised roles as well as higher pay slotted positions as compared to a B.Sc. They would have better opportunities.

The fee structure for B.sc in Nursing at Alva's College of Nursing is about Rupees one lakh twenty five thousand per annum for the program of four years. Overall, the whole course will cost approximately INR 5,00,000. Further, the students are required to pay an admission fee of INR 50,000 and a University registration fee INR 10000 each. Tuition charges vary between 60 thousand and 80 thousand Indian Rupees per year including hostel charges depending on the type of lodging.
