The facility for direct admission is not available at the MIT School of Film and Theatre, ADT University for B.Sc. in Film Making. Candidates need to pass through an entrance test. Besides the online aptitude test, a creative test is also conducted. Then, personal interview with respective candidates will be done based on which self-analysis and socio-political awareness of that particular candidate along with the knowledge about cinema will be checked. To secure admission into SNU Chennai BSc candidates have to apply online through the university website. The documents required for admission are:
- Class 10 & Class 12 certificates and marksheets
- Character/ School Leaving/ Transfer certificate
- Entrance Exam rank/ score card (if applicable)
- Three passport-size photographs
- Proof of residence
