The Indira Gandhi National Open University offers four generic electives to the BSc (H) Anthropology course aspirants. There is a certain credit attached with each of the subject. Hence, the seat count is directly proportional to the number of applicants. IGNOU BSc seat allotment is merit-based, except for PB BSc Nursing course. For the nursing course, seats are allotted based on scores in OPENNET exam. Candidates can get a seat in the course by registering on the IGNOU admission portal in online mode.

Yes, the Indira Gandhi National Open University registrations are open for the 2024-25 admission year. The application deadline was extended to Oct 31 for the Jul session by the university. The registrations are open for fresh admissions and re-registrations. Candidates seeking admission must submit their application on or before the prescribed due date.
