IIHM Ahmedabad is average college for B.Sc. in Hospitality Administration. The average package is INR 2 to 2.5 lpa. Only 40 to 50 % students are placed every year. However, their infrastructure and the industry exposure is good.

The average salary for a B.Sc. Hons. in International Hospitality Management at IIHM Ahmedabad is around INR 10,000 to 15,000 per month and the highest salary offered till now is 29,000 per month. The latest placements report for the BSc course of IIHM Kolkata is not available as of now. Based on reviews of students on Shiksha platform, almost 90% placement percentage was achieved in 2024. In addition, the average package offered was INR 5 LPA as per the reviews. The highest package offered in the placements stood at INR 15 LPA. Some of the top companies that participate in the placements drive are ITC, The Oberoi, Taj Hotel, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.

The International Institute of Hotel Management conducted the eCHAT exam for BSc courses on Feb 15 and Mar 1. The course aspirants are required to register and apply for the exam to get a seat. IIHM Kolkata conducted the eCHAT exam multiple times in a year. Aspirants were able to apply for admission whenever the registration for the exam opened. The next eCHAT exams had been scheduled on February 15 and March 1. While filling out the application, all details had to be entered carefully and matched with the official documents.

Yes, admission to the BSc courses is entrance-based. IIHM Kolkata BSc admission is done based on merit in Electronic Common Hospitality Admission Test (eCHAT exam). The entrance examination is conducted in an online mode. It is an objective type test, hence, it includes multiple choice type questions.
