The eligibility criteria for admission to Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics BSc, candidates should clear Class 12 examination with minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised board of education. Additionally, candidate must have studied Mathematics/ Statistics as their compulsory subject in Class 12. Both the IHMs are good options for BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration aspirants. As per consolidated placements reports, the average package offered at both the institutes has stood at INR 2.4 LPA, approximately. The Shiksha overall rating for the institutes is 4.4

Thus, the aspirants can opt for any of these colleges. The students can consider the campus location as well for the college selection.

There aren't many touchpoints to compare both of these IHMs. As there is no ranking data for these IHM campuses. However, students can still compare them based on fee, placements, and more. The location of both colleges is very different, hence, students can choose campus as per their convenience as well. 

As per Shiksha reviews, IHM Shimla has an overall rating of 4.4 and IHM Jaipur has 4.0 rating. The average package offered at IHM Shimla has stood at INR 2.64 LPA. Further, IHM Jaipur BSc fee is INR 2.8 lakh. Hence, both of these colleges are on the same level as per the available data.

There are a total of 380 seats for BSc course in IHM Shimla. Candidates are admitted to the course in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake only. The institute/regulating body reserves the right to revise the seat count in any academic year. Moreover, students score in NCHMCT JEE is also a factor considered during seat allotment. Furthermore, the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sactioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

IHM Shimla admit candidates to its three-year BSc course based on scores of NCHM JEE exam. The entrance test is conduted by NTA. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board and studied English subject can apply. The application form can be filled out in online mode through the IHM Shimla official website. 

After the entrance examination, cutoff list is released by the authorities. Students who meet the cutoff criteria can participate in the counselling for seat allotment. Following which, IHM Shimla BSc fee can be paid for seat confirmation.

Yes, IHM Shimla BSc HHA admission 2024 is ongoing as the seat allotment through NCHM JEE is pending. The NCHMCET JEE application process was carried out from Feb 9 to Apr 7. Additionally, the entrance examination was conducted on May 11. Further, the NCHMCT JEE choice locking window for admission/seat confirmation is expected to open in June.

Yes, IHM Shimla accept NCHM JEE scores for admission to its BSc programme. This national-level exam is conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam total duration is 180 minutes and all questions are of Multiple Choice Type. There are 200 questions included in the question paper based on Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, and Aptitude for Service Sector. Candidates seeking admission to BSc HHA course of IHM Shimla must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. The students who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam pass and studied English as one of the subjects are eligible for admission. In addition, the age limit is 25 years for General/OBC and 28 years of the SC/ST candidates.

Yes, BSc course is available at DAV-SMK Fomra College. The college offers three-year BSc course divided into six semesters. The university offers BSc through university of Madras. In order to be eligible for the award of the degree the candidate shall successfully complete the course in a maximum period of three years from the date of enrolment for the first semester of the course. Candidates must pass Class 12 (common eligibility) to apply for BSc course.
