Aliah University allows students to get admission on the merit basis, still preference is given to the students having a rank in the related entrance examinations.

For B.Tech CSE the accepted examinations are: WBJEE and JEE

There is no such cuttoff for the admission, the students get admission based on their rank in WBJEE. If you have got rank 4000-6000 you have a great chance to get seat in the University.

Historically, B.Tech in CSE tends to have slightly better placement prospects compared to ECE due to the high demand for computer Science professionals in the industry.

Graduates from CSE programs often secure roles in software development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and other tech-related fields, which are in high demand.

On the other hand, ECE graduates also have good placement opportunities in sectors like telecommunications, electronics, and embedded systems. Ultimately, the choice between CSE and ECE should align with your career interests and goals, as both programs can lead to successful career paths.
