Hello Rajdeep Nath, oh don't worry. Even though Maths is important in engineering, it's not that tough at all. If you have managed to clear entrance exam and get the admission in engineering college then you definitely and surely have the capacity to clear Maths in engineering college. Best wishes to you.

Hello Gauri, I am sure that you must have given civil also as a choice. Okay. A student can definitely change branch. This is of course based on many congratulations. I suggest that you should approach the college administration to know the details of procedure. Also if you so desire can query about availability of CSE under management quota. Best wishes to you.

Hello Varun, your ranking is about 3.5 L. I am afraid that with this ranking it's quite tough to get admission in the branch that you desire. However there is a way. You can get admission in management quota seats of private engineering colleges or in deemed to be universities. However you need to approach them individually since there is no information in public domain. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shymalikaran, you have queried a very interesting aspect of placements. But I am afraid that the segregation of data about placements in the manner you have asked for is just not available. You can only find this perhaps from 'old boys network' who laterally took admission and are now happily placed or unable to find placements. Best wishes to you.

In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Choosing the best university with good placement is also important, I would recommend LPU based on my research that I have done by interacting LPU B.Tech stude

Dear Prateek, The following universities are good for the B.Tech in CSE programme:
SASTRA University
Lovely Professional University
Amity University
Jadhav University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. I have done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. Talking about Lovely Professional University, student of CSE here in LPU. LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU was ranked SECOND by Hacker Earth leaving behind most IITs among more than 5000 universitie
