IT was the top sector during IIT Dhanbad BTech placements 2025. 252 students were placed in this sector. The next top sector was Core Engineering wherein 196 students were placed. In BFSI and Consulting, 71 and 55 students were placed.

Yes, Shri Krishna University provides lateral entry to its BTech courses. Candidates who meet the prescribed criteria are admitted. Selected students get admission in the second year of the UG programme. The entry requirement is as follows for the UG courses:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A minimum of three or two year Diploma exam with at least 45% aggreate (40% for reserved categories) in any branch of Engineering and Technology. 

OR 

  • BSc degree from a recognised university as defined by UGC with at least 45% aggreate (40% for reserved categories) with Mathematics as a subject.

OR

  • Passed DVoc stream in the same or allied sector.
