According to me, the best college for B.tech in Hyderabad is IIT Hyderabad.Then, on the second number, I will consider Hyderabad University .

CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) conducts CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test), but it is mainly for professional UG courses like B.Tech, Integrated MSc, LLB, etc. For courses like BBA, B.Com, or BA, admission is usually merit-based (Class 12 marks), not through CUSAT CAT.So, CUSAT CAT is compulsory for B.Tech and a few other programs, but not for all UG courses
