For admission to the BTech course at Lucknow University, candidates are not required to secure a valid score in CUET UG. The university and its affiliated college accept JEE Mains/ LUEE, followed by AKTU counselling. For BTech LE courses, the university might accept UPCET scores.

For the BTech course, the LUEE exam is a must at Lucknow University. This is the university's own entrance exam for enrolling students in different courses. The admission exam is held annually. Moreover, Lucknow University is one of the recognised government universities, which doesn't guarantee admission to the students without having valid scores in the accepted entrance exam.

To secure admission to BTech at Calcutta University, students must pass the state-level entrance examination, i.e., WBJEE with a good score. Candidate should also have the minimum eligibility, which is class 12 pass with 50% aggregate. The eligible students can also submit the online form (caluniv.ac.in). The university again shortlists students on the basis of their entrance test and allots seats.

The fees for undergraduate engineering courses at BML Munjal University are INR 12 lakh, which means in the first year of the course, students should pay INR 3 lakh. This is only the tuition fee, which one should cover during the duration of the course in instalments. Apart from the tuition fee, there are several components of the total fee; some of which can be admission fee, application fee, registration charges and many more. This fee amount is sourced from the official website/ sanctinoning body, and it can be changed.

CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) conducts CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test), but it is mainly for professional UG courses like B.Tech, Integrated MSc, LLB, etc. For courses like BBA, B.Com, or BA, admission is usually merit-based (Class 12 marks), not through CUSAT CAT.So, CUSAT CAT is compulsory for B.Tech and a few other programs, but not for all UG courses
