Of course yes. You are eligible for lateral admission directly in 2nd year of engineering. But some states give admission based on marks of Diploma but some states give admission based on entrance test.

Yes, that's the best thing you could do. After obtaining Diploma, you must seek lateral admission in an engineering college.

The forms are not yet released, check the date when the forms are released.

You have superb academics. But some states have started conducting entrance tests for lateral admissions. If you happen to be from one of these then I am afraid that your marks of Diploma will not count. But I am sure that if you have scored 90% in Diploma then you can ace entrance exam

What happened? From B.Tech in CSE to literature! Of course you must follow your passion and heart. This only will give you happiness. Normally integrated courses offer graduation with PG. But PhD is a different cup of tea. You can choose any college that is convenient to you to begin MA.
