Pillai College of Engineering offers admission to the BTech programme based on entrance exam scores. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream with a minimum aggregate score of 45% from a recognised board. Additionally, candidates are required to apply for and take one of the accepted entrance exams, which include JEE Main or MHT CET.

In 2024, ITS Engineering College was ranked by Times at #175 position. This made the college the 21st best among the Engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh as per the Times ranking 2024.
