The clear answer to this question is no. An online BTech degree is considered invalid in India after the strict guidelines of AICTE and UGC because they give a lot of value to practical training and classroom learning, which is not possible in the online mode of learning. If we talk about the core Engineering specializations like Civil Engineering, CSE, Mechanical Engg. and Electrical Engineering, all of these require hands-on practical training to be able to gain the right set of skills needed for the workforce in the job market.

It is not mandatory for you to give an entrance exam for getting admission to BTech degree courses in any of the specializations in Assam. There are a lot of popular engineering colleges in India that will admit you on the basis of your performance in the Class 12 board examination, given you have scored really good marks and are able to qualify for the merit cutoff released by the college.

G.H. Raisoni Skill Tech University admission 2025 requires original documents and four attested photocopies of HSC and SSC mark sheets, CAP allotment letter are to be furnished by the applicants. Domicile certificate, caste certificate (if needed), and Aadhar card photocopy are to be furnished. Migration and eligibility certificates are to be furnished by students belonging to non-Maharashtra boards, and gap certificates are to be furnished if needed.

To be eligible for BTech in G.H. Raisoni Skill Tech University, applicants should have passed HSC with Physics and Mathematics and one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, or a vocational subject. General category students require a minimum of 50% marks, and reserved category applicants need 45%. The selection is made on the basis of merit in last qualifying exam. NRI and foreign applicants should fulfill equivalent academic qualifications with a minimum of 45% marks.

The process for B.Tech at RV College of Engineering for 2025-26 has already started in January for Karnataka residents and in February for students residing outside karnataka . The students can apply online or by visiting the campus . The applying candidates must satisfy their conditions which include : 

1)- valid result in JEE mains/kcet .

2)-alteast 45% marks in 12th board results.

3)-alteast 60% marks in physics and mathematics.
