Candidates looking forward to pursuing a BTech course must fulfill the requirements laid down by the colleges. Check below the common eligibility criteria for admission to BTech colleges in Haryana:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 60 % aggregate from a recognised board with Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges)

The process of admission is carried out by online counseling where students are allotted seats based on their score/rank in the exam through which the institute offers admission. There are about 150+ BTech colleges accepting HSTES in Haryana. Of these,  131 colleges are privately owned,  18 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public/private entities own 3 colleges. Kurukshetra University offers a four-year full-time BTech course across multiple specialisations based on JEE Main ranks, followed by HSTES counselling. The BTech course is offered via its affiliated colleges, such as University Institute of Engineering and Technology and Yamuna Group of Institutions, etc. Considering the KUK JEE Main cutoff 2024, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kurukshetra, was the most competitive for admission to the BTech in Electrical Engineering course for the General AI category students. This institute has the lowest last round JEE Main cutoff 2024, making it the most competitive for admission. Kurukshetra University offers full-time BTech courses via its affiliated colleges. Admission to the programme is based on cutoff list prepared by the Haryana State Technical Counseling Society (HSTES) based on JEE Main ranks, followed by a counselling process. KUK BTech cutoff 2024 has been concluded for multiple specialisations and categories. For the General AI category students, the JEE Main cutoff ranks ranged between 102607 and 861145. Of all the affiliated colleges, the most competitive was University Institute of Engineering and Technology for admission to its BTech in CSE course. The second most competitive was State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nilokheri, followed by Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Memorial College Of Engineering (JCDCOE).

For getting admission to the BTech in Nanotechnology course at popular colleges, you should start by checking their eligibility criteria and making sure you meet the same. Usually, the minimum B Tech Nanotechnology eligibility is getting 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 board exams.

The next thing you need to do is to give relevant entrance tests like JEE Main, GUJCET, TS EAMCET, etc. and get a good score in the exam. You need to also fill out the college application forms before the last date.

After the exam results are out, you have to apply for the counseling session that takes place at the colleges to allot seats to all the qualifying students. You'll be given a seat according to your rank and exam score. After seat allotment, you need to visit the college, pay the course fee and start attending classes as per the academic schedule.
