Cutoff is 92% for general merit for 2016 batch.

Both are good. In B.Tech you will get a good package in comparison of B.Sc. But it also depends on your interest. Which career line you want to choose also help you to choose your course.

No, you can appear in first year of B.Tech with 12th class.
Or you can get lateral entry(2nd year) if you having diploma in that stream in which you want to take admission in B.Tech.
