The admission standards for B.Voc in Fashion Design and Garment Technology in AMU have been changing for the past three years by categories. For the general category, the cutoff has been raised progressively from 45-50 in 2020-2021 to 50-55 in 2021-2022 and from 55-60 in 2022-2023 session. Like that for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC and EWS the cutoff marks for the academic years 2020-2021 were between 35-40%, for the year 2021-2022 were between 40-45% and now for the year 2022-2023 the cutoff marks range between 45-50%.

You can pursue BVoc right after completing 10+2. There is no age limit. Some institutes may have an upper age limit. The admission process for BVoc courses typically begins in March or April, and classes start in July or August.

Admission to the B.Voc. For admission in Medical Lab Technology (MLT) at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Banaras Hindu University RGSC, BHU), it is done mainly through the Common University Entrance Test CUET. Yes, you can pursue MDes in Interior Design after completing BVoc Interior Design. This is because BVoc is considered equivalent to graduation though it is more application based. It is a UGC recognised programme and you can apply for various postgraduate level degree after completing it.

The admission to BVoc was based on merit in the last qualifying examination till admission 2021. However, now the admission is granted based on CUET scores to the applicants. Before applying for the course, aspirants must also check out the course-specific eligibility requirements. The eligible students can visit the CUET website and select Delhi University as preference for admission with correct course combination.
