Hii Rishu, You are confused so let me tell you that BCA stands for computer application that will help you to join the software and IT companies as a software engineer, programmer etc. It will make you trained in computer and its application. BCA doesn't need a Science background. B.Voc or Bachelor of Vocational Studies in Software Development is an undergraduate programme which is of 3-year duration. This programme improves the skills of the candidates by concentrating on theoretical knowledge as well as practical training. Bachelor of Vocational Studies is a practical and skill-oriented programme which focuses on important practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. Students who have passed Class 12 in Science stream from a recognised board are eligible to apply for admission to the B.Voc Software Development course. Almost all the top engineering institutes in the country admit students on the basis of entrance examinations like IPU CET and CUCET.
