Yes, you can pursue BA Political Science after retirement from government services as there is no maximum age limit to pursue the course. Colleges and entrance exam conducting bodies do not prescribe any maximum or minimum age limit to pursue BA Political Science course. Though, some privately owned colleges may have their own eligiblity parameters to pursue a BA Political Science course. Yes, you can pursue BA Political Science course after completing Class 12 in Science stream. The course is open to students from all streams though it is usually pursued by those of Arts stream. You can get admission based on your Class 12 board marks as most colleges offer admission to BA Political Science course on the basis of merit. You can also appear for entrance exams like CUET or exams as many colleges offer admission on the basis of entrance exams.

The course has theoretical and analytical subjects and is studied with a scientific temperament. It is a three year long course like any other non technical bachelor's degree.
