Yes, you can pursue BA Political Science after retirement from government services as there is no maximum age limit to pursue the course. Colleges and entrance exam conducting bodies do not prescribe any maximum or minimum age limit to pursue BA Political Science course. Though, some privately owned colleges may have their own eligiblity parameters to pursue a BA Political Science course. Please check the eligibility criteria for the colleges of your preference before you proceed wih further admission process.

Yes, you can pursue BA Political Science course after completing Class 12 in Science stream. The course is open to students from all streams though it is usually pursued by those of Arts stream. You can get admission based on your Class 12 board marks as most colleges offer admission to BA Political Science course on the basis of merit. You can also appear for entrance exams like CUET or exams as many colleges offer admission on the basis of entrance exams.

On completing BA, you will be eligible to apply for various government jobs that are open to graduates. UPSC, SSC CGL, SBI PO, IBPS PO are some of the popular national level competetive exams through which you can get a government job.
You can also pursue MA Political Science course to enhance your career prospects. You can become a TGT teacher after BA Political Science and PGT teacher after MA Political Science. To apply for the post of Assistant Professor you should have completed a PhD in Political Science.

BA Political Science is an Arts degree with Political Science as a specialization. It can be pursued by candidates after completing Class 12, Diploma or equivalent qualification. As per the basic eligibility criteria, you should secure at least 50% marks to pursue the course, however, the marks criteria are usually much higher. The course has theoretical and analytical subjects and is studied with a scientific temperament. It is a three year long course like any other non technical bachelor's degree.
