Scholarship programmes for UG courses at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication are:

*The University offers a wide range of scholarships based on merit and income to meritorious students. Students (12th class total) who have scored 80% or more are eligible for parent's Income Tax Return (ITR). The scholarship is valid for tuition fees only. HPTU provides scholarship to eligible students to pursue their studies. Applicants must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh and must be financially backward or ward of an employee of the state Government. There are many scholarships available for students to pursue their chosen streams. The University also offers scholarship offered by the UGC and AICTE to criteria based deserving or qualifying students.

For UG course, candidates scoring above 700 marks can be considered a good score in CUET UG. Candidates scoring above 700 may fall in the category of 95+ percentile. Candidates can get admission to top universities like University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and other top central universities in the desired course. Around two admission exams per year are normally held by the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) for many courses, including Diploma UG courses. The entrance tests are typically planned for the academic year 2024 as follows:

  • Initial Session: Typically this takes place in April or May during the initial part of the year.
  • Session 2: Usually held in October or November of the second half of the year.

The exact dates of the admission tests for 2024 are still pending.
